Equality, British Values and Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development
Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development (SMSC) is at the heart of what we do at Hazelmere to ensure we provide our children with more than just an education.
Through our Core Values, our ethos and our rich curriculum we promote SMSC to enable children to build their own personal values, have positive relationships with others and to make them aware of the variety of opportunities and experiences that life can hold thus developing their aspirations.
Our provision for pupils’ Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development at this early stage of their education will contribute to them becoming responsible young citizens in society as will the support we offer children to engage with British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and respect for different faiths and beliefs.
